Learning Tree Montessori School, founded in 2002, is located in  Adyar, Chennai. Over the years, Learning Tree has established itself as one of the premier Montessori schools in the city for pre-primary education.

Learning Tree uses the Montessori method to help each child spontaneously reach his or her full potential - intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Teaching values at Learning Tree are aimed towards imparting qualities of self-confidence, poise, a spirit of sharing, and exemplary social behavior. The curriculum supports meaningful, exponential development of reading and writing skills, math, and a keen, scientific awareness of the world around us. Such cognitive and affective inputs from the school brings about a holistic development of the child's personality at an early age that is an invaluable investment for their future.

Spacious classrooms, clean surroundings, and an outdoor play area combine to give the children a rich working environment. The slide, see-saw, jungle gym, sand pit, and trees  are a constant delight to the children
and present a picture of complete harmony with Nature.

Learning Tree is an inclusive school and welcomes challenged children. These children blossom and progress in the nurturing environment of the school and form an integral part of the Learning Tree community. Some of them have gained enough confidence  to join mainstream schools.

Learning Tree is the preferred school for children living in localities in South Chennai such as Shastri Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, Indira Nagar, Besant Nagar, Kottivakkam, Gandhi Nagar and Kasturba Nagar.

In an All-India Survey published in Education World (Oct 2011), Learning Tree has been ranked as one of Chennai's "Most Admired Preschools".
